Add Extra Input Fields to Your Form

SendX makes it easy to add extra fields to your embedded forms and pop-ups, allowing you to capture valuable data like preferences, job titles, location, and more.

Before You Begin

Make sure you:

  • Have a SendX account

  • Know which form or pop-up you want to edit, or be ready to create a new one

  • Have a plan for what kind of customer data you'd like to collect (e.g., industry, budget, interest level)

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Create or Edit an Embedded Form

  • Log in to your SendX dashboard

  • Navigate to Forms > Embedded Forms

  • Click Create New Form or select an existing one to edit

2. Go to the Content Tab

  • Once you're in the form editor, click the Content tab at the top

3. Scroll to the Fields Area

  • On the right-hand panel, scroll down until you see the section titled Fields

4. Click on “Add Fields”

  • Click the Add Fields button

  • Choose the type of field you'd like to add:

    • Text Input – for short responses like name, company, or title

    • Checkbox – for multi-select options like interests

    • Dropdown – for single-select categories like industry or budget range

5. Customize and Add Multiple Fields

  • Each new field will appear automatically in your form

  • Customize the field name and options based on what information you want to collect

  • Add as many fields as needed to properly segment your audience.

6. Save Your Form

  • Once you've added and customized your extra fields, click Save

  • Your embedded form or pop-up is now updated and ready to capture detailed subscriber information
