The Dynamic Sender feature in SendX allows you to personalize your emails by sending them from different sender names and email addresses—based on each contact’s assigned custom fields. This helps improve trust, engagement, and overall email deliverability. In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps to enable and configure the Dynamic Sender feature inside your SendX dashboard.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have:
Access to your SendX account with admin permissions
A list of contacts to whom you want to assign dynamic sender details
The sender names and email addresses you want to use
Your contact data ready for manual update or CSV import
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Access Settings
Click on your profile icon in the top navigation bar.
Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
Step 2: Navigate to Integrations and Add-ons
In the Settings menu, select Integrations and Add-ons.
Switch to the Add-ons tab at the top.
Step 3: Enable Dynamic Sender
Scroll to the Custom Fields and Events section within the Add-ons tab.
Toggle the switch for Dynamic Sender to enable it.
Step 4: Configure Custom Fields
On the Dynamic Sender screen, click Back to Add-ons to return.
Navigate to Settings > Custom Fields and Events.
In the Custom Fields section add the following:
SxSenderName
: Your Brand SupportSxSenderEmail
: support@yourbrand.com
Step 5: Update Contacts
Go to Audience > List from the main navigation bar.
Perform a bulk CSV import to assign the custom field values efficiently.
Option 2: Automation Workflow
Navigate to Workflow > Create Automation
Set up the following sequence:
Trigger: Tag added / List subscribed (choose your trigger based on how contacts enter your system)
Step A: Add an A/B Split Test
Path A: Add action → Update custom field
SXSenderName
andSXSenderEmail
with the first domain’s sender details.Path B: Add action → Update custom field
SXSenderName
andSXSenderEmail
with the second domain’s sender details.
This allows you to dynamically split contacts and assign different sender identities for testing or domain load distribution.
Step 6: Send a Campaign
When you send a campaign to contacts who have the
SxSenderName
andSxSenderEmail
fields filled in, SendX will automatically use those values as the sender name and email.✅ For contacts who do not have these custom fields, the campaign will default to the standard sender email and name configured in your SendX settings.
This ensures smooth delivery even if not all contacts have the dynamic sender fields associated.
You can now schedule and send your campaign as usual, and each contact will receive the email from either the personalized sender OR the default sender, depending on the data present.
Tips & Best Practices
💡 Dynamic Sender is especially useful when sending to large lists or running multi-brand campaigns
Conclusion
Setting up Dynamic Sender in SendX is a simple yet powerful way to personalize your email campaigns at scale. It helps build trust, improves engagement, and reduces the chances of deliverability issues by distributing load across multiple sender identities.
