In SendX, you can easily create a list of unsubscribed contacts to ensure they no longer receive your communications.

Before You Begin

  • Ensure you have access to your SendX dashboard.

  • You should have permission to create segments and perform bulk actions.

  • Understand that this action helps prevent sending emails to users who have opted out, improving your sender reputation.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Create a New List

    • Go to the “Contacts” section in SendX.

    • Create a new list and give it a recognizable name like Unsubscribers.

  2. Create a Segment of Unsubscribers

    • Navigate to the “Segments” tab.

    • Create a new segment with a condition like:
      Contacts > Unsubscribed

    • Save the segment.

  3. Add Segment to the List Using Bulk Action

    • Go to “Automation” > “Bulk Actions.”

    • Select “Add contacts to list” as your action.

    • Choose the segment you just created (Unsubscribers).

    • Select the list you created earlier.

    • Run the action.

  4. Confirm the List is Populated

    • Return to the “Lists” section.

    • Open the Unsubscribers list and confirm that the contacts have been added successfully.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Avoid deleting unsubscribed contacts unless necessary for compliance.

  • Label your segments and lists clearly to prevent confusion in future use.
