The drag-and-drop editor includes a built-in file manager for storing images, tools for embedding videos, and the ability to save rows as reusable components. This article covers how to organize your assets so you can quickly build campaigns without uploading the same images repeatedly or recreating common layouts.

All assets and saved rows are shared across your team, so anyone on your team can access and use them in their campaigns.

Managing Images in the File Manager

When you add an image block to your email and click to browse, the file manager opens. This is where all your uploaded images are stored and organized.

Uploading Images

You can add images to your file manager in several ways:

Upload from your computer: Click the upload button and select images from your local files. Images can be up to 10MB each.

Import from external sources: Click "Import" to pull images from:

  • A direct URL

  • Facebook

  • Google Drive

  • Box

  • Google Photos

Use free stock images: The editor includes a searchable library of over 50,000 free images. Enter a topic or keyword, browse the results, and select an image. It gets added to your file manager automatically.

Organizing Your Images

Grid view or list view: Toggle between views depending on how you prefer to browse your library.

Folders: Create folders to organize images by campaign type, product line, season, or whatever structure works for your team. This makes it easier to find the right image quickly, especially as your library grows.

Once you upload an image, it stays in your file manager permanently and can be reused in any future campaign.

Embedding Videos

You can add video content to your emails using the video block. The editor supports YouTube and Vimeo links.

How to Add a Video

  1. Drag the video block into your email layout

  2. Enter the YouTube or Vimeo URL

  3. The editor generates a preview image from the video

Important: Videos don't play directly inside emails. Email clients don't support embedded video playback. Instead, the video block displays a preview image (thumbnail) that links to the video URL. When recipients click the preview, they're taken to YouTube or Vimeo to watch the video.

Saving and Reusing Rows

Rows are the horizontal sections of your email layout. Each row can contain multiple columns and content blocks. If you create a row you want to use again, such as a header, footer, product showcase, or call-to-action section, you can save it for reuse across all your campaigns.

What is a Row?

When you hover over any section of your email in the editor, you'll see "Row" labeled in the top-right corner. A row is a complete horizontal section that can include images, text, buttons, dividers, and other content blocks arranged in columns.

How to Save a Row

  1. Build your row by dragging in a row structure and adding content blocks

  2. Customize the design, colors, text, and images

  3. Click on the row to select it (look for the row indicator in the corner)

  4. Click the Save icon

  5. Give your row a name that describes its purpose (e.g., "Newsletter Header" or "Product CTA Block")

The row is now saved and available for future use.

How to Use a Saved Row

  1. In the drag-and-drop editor, go to the Rows section in the left panel

  2. Click Saved Rows

  3. Find the row you want to use

  4. Drag and drop it into your email layout

The saved row appears in your email with all its original content and styling. You can then modify it for your specific campaign without affecting the saved version.

Editing and Deleting Saved Rows

Deleting: You can delete saved rows you no longer need from the Saved Rows section.

Editing: You can't directly edit a saved row. If you need to update a saved row, drag it into a campaign, make your changes, then save it as a new row. You can delete the old version afterward if you want to replace it.

There's no limit to how many rows you can save.

AI Subject Line Assistant

While creating your campaign, you can use the AI Subject Line Assistant to generate subject line ideas.

  1. On the sender/subject step, look for the AI assistant option near the subject line field

  2. Enter keywords or ideas related to your campaign (separated by commas)

  3. The AI generates several subject line suggestions

  4. Click on a suggestion to apply it as your subject line

This is helpful when you're stuck or want to test different approaches.

Personalizing with Merge Tags

You can add merge tags to your subject line to personalize emails for each recipient. For example, adding the contact's name:

  1. In the subject line field, click to insert a merge tag

  2. Select the field you want (e.g., Name)

  3. Add a fallback value in case the field is empty for some contacts

The subject line might look like: "You're invited, {{fallback Name "there"}}!" where "there" is the fallback if a contact has no name on file.

For more details on merge tags and personalization, see the Email Editors article.
