While making your broadcast email campaigns, you can set various scheduling options for that campaign depending on when you want to send out that email. Depending on your needs, you can choose to set your scheduling as Send Now, Schedule Later, Send in contact's timezone, or Smart Send.

How To Setup Scheduling Options For Your Broadcast Emails

  • Make a new broadcast campaign or Edit an already existing one (depending on which email you want to schedule).

  • Under the Schedule tab, you will be able to see the various Scheduling options by clicking on the field below Schedule.

  • Click on your preferred choice and make the necessary changes. Click Send Campaign when you're done.

Various Scheduling Options For Your Broadcast Email SendX provides you with three scheduling options that can be edited under the Basic tab.Among these, Smart Send offers the unique ability to optimize delivery timing based on each recipient's time zone.

  1. Send Later: This option allows you to set the exact date and time when you want to send out your emails.

  • Click on Send Later.

  • Set the Date, Time and the Timezone.

2. Send Now: This option allows you to send the broadcast email as soon as you are done with the email and click on Submit under the Content tab.

3. Send in contact's timezone: This option will send to each individual based on their own timezone.

  • Click on Send in contact's timezone.

  • Set the Date, Time and the Timezone for those whose timezone is unknown.

  1. Smart Send: This option will send to each contact when they are most likely to open it based on historical data.Smart Send also ensures that emails are sent according to each recipient's local time zone. For example, if you schedule an email for 5 PM IST, recipients in the USA will receive the email at 5 PM in their respective time zones (e.g., 5 PM EST, CST, or PST). This scheduling may take longer compared to other options as emails are personalized for each recipient.

  • Click on Smart Send.

  • Set preferred timezone and date and time for timezones and clicks unknown.

  • Note that campaigns scheduled with Smart Send may show a longer "sending" duration due to the additional processing time needed to send emails individually based on each recipient's time zone.

Tips for Efficient Email Scheduling

  1. Understand Your Audience: Before scheduling, identify the time zones where the majority of your audience is located.

  2. Leverage Smart Send for Global Campaigns: For global audiences, enable Smart Send to optimize email delivery based on recipients' local times.

  3. Monitor Campaign Timing: Review your campaign delivery reports to ensure emails are sent out as expected across time zones.
