When You Need This Information

If your business operates in the crypto, CBD, cannabis, or forex industries and you want to use SendX for email marketing, you'll need to understand our compliance requirements and review process before launching campaigns.

What Happens During the Review Process

Initial Campaign Setup

Your campaigns will send normally unless they contain spammy keywords that trigger our automated filters. If flagged, your campaign or account will be quarantined and you'll see a quarantine notification in your SendX dashboard.

Compliance Review Timeline

Our compliance team reviews quarantined accounts within 24 to 48 hours. During this review, we evaluate:

  1. The legality of your product or service in target regions

  2. Your email content quality and compliance

  3. Your list building practices and engagement methods

  4. Domain authentication and sender reputation

Important: If your account is suspended due to policy violations, there is no resubmission process. Ensure you meet all requirements from the start.

Requirements for Approval

1. Legal Compliance

Your business must operate legally in all regions where you send email campaigns. You are responsible for understanding and following local regulations for your industry.

2. List Quality Standards

To maintain deliverability and comply with anti-spam laws:

  • Opt-in is mandatory for all contact lists

  • No purchased or scraped lists are permitted

  • Email verification is strongly recommended before uploading contacts (use tools like NeverBounce, ZeroBounce, or our built-in List Cleaning addon)

  • Maintain clean list metrics: Keep bounce rates below 2% and spam complaint rates below 0.1%

Why this matters: Explicit opt-in reduces spam complaints and improves email deliverability, which is critical for regulated industries that face higher scrutiny.

3. Content Requirements

Your email content must meet these standards:

✓ Text-rich emails (not image-only designs)

✓ Clear, honest messaging without misleading claims

✓ Educational or value-driven content that engages recipients

✗ Spammy keywords like "100% guaranteed," "Buy now," "Risk-free," or overly promotional language

✗ Content that violates laws in your target regions

Why this matters: Spam filters are stricter with regulated industries. Clean, helpful content improves inbox placement and engagement.

4. Domain and Sender Authentication

Business domain required: Your sender email must use a business domain (like @yourcompany.com). Free email services like Gmail or Outlook are not permitted for sending.

Domain authentication: Your domain must be properly authenticated with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records. This is what we mean by "domain whitelisting" and is essential for deliverability.

How to authenticate: Follow our domain authentication guide in the SendX dashboard under Settings > Domain Authentication.

5. Warm-Up Process for Large Lists

If you have over 10,000 contacts, you'll need to gradually build your sender reputation through a warm-up process.

How it works: Use SendX's free Warm-Up addon to gradually increase your sending volume over several weeks. This prevents your emails from being flagged as spam when you suddenly send to a large list.

Your responsibility: This is a manual process you manage yourself using our free addon. Start with smaller segments and slowly scale up.

Important Limitations and Notes

No cryptocurrency payments: We accept credit card payments only. For invoices above $10,000, contact our support team to arrange wire transfer options.

Suspension is permanent: If your account violates guidelines after approval, it will be suspended with no resubmission option. Always follow the requirements.

Forex industry included: These same compliance considerations apply to forex industry campaigns on SendX.

No additional sending limits: Beyond standard SendX plan limits, there are no extra restrictions for these industries.

Ongoing monitoring required: Continue to monitor your bounce rates, unsubscribe rates, and spam complaints. Staying within acceptable thresholds (bounces <2%, spam <0.1%) is essential for long-term sending success.

Common Questions

Q: Will my campaign be delayed for review?

A: Not automatically. Campaigns send normally unless they contain spammy keywords that trigger our filters. If flagged, expect a 24-48 hour review period.

Q: Can I use a Gmail address to send campaigns?

A: No. You must use a business domain email address (like hello@yourcompany.com) with proper authentication.

Q: Do I need to use an email verification tool?

A: It's strongly recommended but not mandatory. SendX also offers a built-in List Cleaning addon you can use to verify and clean your contacts before sending.

Q: What happens if my bounce rate goes above 2%?

A: High bounce rates damage your sender reputation and may result in account suspension. Use email verification and remove invalid addresses immediately.

Q: Can I pay with Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency?

A: No. We only accept credit card payments. For large invoices ($10,000+), wire transfer may be available through our support team.

Q: How do I know if my campaign was quarantined?

A: You'll see a quarantine status notification in your SendX dashboard. Our team will review your account within 24-48 hours.

Q: What if I'm rejected during review?

A: There is no resubmission process. We recommend ensuring full compliance with all requirements before launching your first campaign. If you have questions about requirements, contact our support team before sending.
