Run A Bulk Action

Bulk actions allow you to efficiently perform large-scale updates to your contact lists, campaigns, or segments in SendX. Whether you're tagging contacts, unsubscribing users, or adding them to a list, bulk actions help save time and reduce manual effort.

With recent updates, the Bulk Actions feature has been moved to a new location in your dashboard.

Before You Begin

Ensure you have:

  • A CSV file prepared (if you're using contacts for bulk updates)

  • Admin or sufficient permissions to perform account-level changes

  • A clear understanding of the action you wish to perform (e.g., tag, unsubscribe, delete)

3. Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Navigate to Bulk Actions

  • From your SendX Dashboard, go to:

    • Profile Icon (Top Right Corner) β†’ Settings β†’ Bulk Actions

Step 2: Choose Your Bulk Action

  • Select the type of bulk action you wish to perform. Common options include:

    • Add Tag

    • Remove Tag

    • Subscribe/Unsubscribe

    • Add to List

    • Delete Contacts

Step 3: Select The action

  • Add Tag

  • Remove Tag

  • Subscribe/Unsubscribe

  • Add to List

  • Delete Contacts

  • Add to a drip campaign

  • Global unsubscribe

Step 4: Review and Confirm

  • Double-check your selected action and contacts.

  • Click Submit to execute the bulk action.

  • A confirmation message will appear once the task is completed.

4. Tips & Best Practices

  • Always back up your contact list before running irreversible actions like deletion, always export the list of contacts.

  • Use meaningful tags when organizing contacts through bulk tagging.

5. Troubleshooting / Common Issues

  • Bulk action not reflecting?

    • Wait a few minutes and refresh the page; processing large lists may take time.

  • Selected wrong action?

    • Contact support immediately to mitigate changes, if possible.
