With SendX, you can easily add subscriber-specific details like their name or email address into your subject lines, improving open rates and boosting engagement. People are more likely to open and respond to emails that feel relevant and directly addressed to them.

Before You Begin

  • Ensure you have created a list with contacts that include personalization fields such as First Name or Email.

  • You should have access to the Campaigns section in SendX.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Create a New Campaign

    • Go to your SendX dashboard and click on Campaigns.

    • Select Create New Campaign.

  2. Enter Campaign Details

    • Fill in the Campaign Name and move to the Subject Line field.

  3. Add Personalization

    • In the subject line, use the personalization dropdown to insert variables like {{fallback .Email "there"}} {{fallback .Name "there"}}

    • Example: “Hey {{fallback .Name "there"}}, we’ve got something just for you!”

  4. Complete and Send

    • Finish creating the rest of your campaign (content, audience, etc.) and send it as usual.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Always include fallback text in case a contact doesn’t have a name saved (e.g., {{fallback .Email "there"}} {{fallback .Name "there"}} ).

  • Keep the subject short and attention-grabbing—personalization works best when it’s subtle and relevant.

  • Test your subject lines before sending to ensure personalization renders correctly.

  • Monitor open rates to evaluate the impact of personalized subject lines over time.
