This process involves adding DNS records (like SPF, DKIM, or CNAME) provided by your email platform. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to whitelist your domain using Cloudflare’s DNS settings.

2. Before You Begin

Make sure you have the following ready:

  • Access to your Cloudflare account

  • Your domain has been added and is active within Cloudflare.

  • DNS records (TXT, CNAME, etc.) provided by Sendx have been generated.

3. Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Log in to Cloudflare

Step 2: Choose Your Domain

  • From your dashboard, select the domain you want to whitelist.

Step 3: Go to DNS Settings

  • Click on the "DNS" tab at the top navigation bar.

Step 4: Add Required Records

  • Click “Add Record.”

  • Choose the correct record type (e.g., TXT for DKIM or CNAME for tracking domains)

  • Paste the DNS values provided by Sendx.

  • Make sure the proxy status is turned off to prevent conflicts or duplication issues.

  • Click Save

Step 5: Verify in Your Email Platform

  • Go back to your platform and click Recheck status.

  • It may take two to twenty-four hours for DNS records to propagate.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Avoid duplicate records: Only one SPF or DKIM record should exist per domain. If needed, merge values rather than creating multiple entries.

  • Use correct values: Always use the copy function instead of typing manually to avoid errors in the values or code.

  • Re-verify if needed: If verification fails initially, give it some time and try again. If the domain remains unverified after 24 hours, consider reaching out to support for further assistance.
